EXCURSION TO KINTAMPO WATER FALL AND BUABENG-FIEMA MONKEY SANCTUARY

The junior smartkids together with two senior smartids that is Smith and I went on an excursion to the kintampo water falls and Buabeng fiema monkey sanctuary respectively.
We first went to the monkey sanctuary first.The man who took us around told us more about the monkey."A farmer once went to the farm and saw an idol in his farm together with two monkeys.The farmer brought the idol or god to the house.Later the monkeys came to the village.The people in the village was worried and decided to harm the monkeys.The chief priest  of the village told them that  the god is the father of the monkeys and if any of them shoot or hit any of the monkeys the person who shot or killed the monkey would die through the same procedure.So with this people of the town agreed and decided to keep the god monkeys.Again He told them that if any of the monkeys die they should burry it like that of human and make a funeral ceremony for it"said the man who took us round.In the forest the monkeys came down from the top of the trees to eat the food in our palms.

After visiting the monkey sanctuary we went to Kintampo where we saw one of the best things in nature,the falls.we went to first stage where we saw the source of the fall.After that we went to the second stage to see  the falling water.The most exciting one,thus the third stage we descended 152 steps to see the main water fall.All the kids screamed when they saw the main the main fall.It was all happiness and joy at the trip.

RUNNING ERRANDS FOR THE FOUNDATION

Last year there was a selection for a new Smartkids.they were picked from the eastern region.but they had to come to to school in Kumasi which is  a new place to them.they can.they did not know Kumasi at all so i went with Francis to where we picked them from to Joy Standard School.That day was my first day to enter into the region ans so is a memorable day for me personally.when they vacated i sent them back and still i continue to do this to help the foundation.

STAYING IN THE HOUSE

i could not go to school last year because I did not get admission to the tertiary schools.I was not happy staying in the house because my mates were all going to school leaving me behind.But I thought about it and iIrealize that there is better days ahead of me.I am still in the house and very optimistic to go to school.

THE REASON BEHIND MY EDUCATION

I am Kwaku Boateng.I belong to the SMARTKIDS FOUNDATION.I am 19yrs and 182cm tall.I was sponsored by foundation through my junior high and senior high education.I come from Kumasi in the Ashanti region of Ghana.I am now in the house because i could not go to school last year
